Removed Window Tint...Glue Wont Go Away?
I took my own tint off my car because it was too dark and I didn't want to worry about the cops. I got it off both windows (passenger and drivers) and got most of the glue off as well. The tint was all the down though beneath the window seal and now the glue is sticking making the window stick and wont even roll down. Any ideas how to get the glue off the window that is beneath the window seal?

I heard u can use paint thinner on a rag. Not sure if it works. Was told to use it on my 3rd gen after i took tint off.

X2 on the razor blade, but you want to use some lubricant like goff off or soapy water.

I took off the tint on a 1995 Cobra Mustang I bought once and what a mess. I used blanket wash and a razor blade. Printers that use printing presses use blanket wash to remove ink from the round cylinders on printing presses. Thats where I got that idea. Soapy water wont do squat.... |

Soapy water isn't being used as a solvent it's being used as a lubricant. Heat gun or blow dryer soapy water and a razor blade is all you need I've never once had an issue with that combination. Glue peels off like butter and is a lot safer than a solvent.
