Day trip to the 3rd Annual Camaro Gathering - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm considering a day trip from the RTP area to the 3rd Annual Camaro Gathering in Concord, NC on Saturday the 25th, weather permitting.

Anyone in the RTP, Triad, etc. areas interested in joining in? We can Camaro-van down and back.

I'm on the fence. I normally attend the Lake Wheeler car show in my 49 Chevy truck on that weekend. I attended the Camaro fest in Cary a couple of years ago in mom's 67 vert. It was a good time and I had one of 3 or 4 1st gens there. I plan on going to the auto fair in Charlotte, always do.
Still trying to decide on the Camaro gathering.... A Camaro-van would be fun.....

Okay, it looks like we are going. Looks like the wife has arranged to stay with a friend, who lives in Concord, Friday night. We'll hang out all day Saturday and come home Saturday evening.

I'll have to miss the RTP train on Saturday. We should be hanging with 5th Gen of the Carolinas if any RTP'ers want to meet up at the event.

As of now, I'm leaning towards not going due to the possibility of rain.

I'm bringing my 10x10 pop up. As long as there is no lightning we're good. Your welcome to hang out under it. Cooler temps means beer stays colder longer.

Me too. Hopefully the forecast will change some and allow for day trip down and back before the rain starts......
