everytime i post in the forums it shows no picture until you click on my profile. how do you change this?

Hit "Quick Links", then "Edit Options". On the left menu under Settings and Options, click "Edit Avatar".

If you are referring to your signature banner at the bottom of each post, you have to do one extra step to get it to show up...

Once you've added the signature banner to the forum, off to the right should be INSERT SIGNATURE PICTURE. Click that, and it will insert it to all your posts..

Hi Cale. You may have gotten 'profile picture' confused with 'avatar'. To change your avatar (pic to the right of your post), go here. If you were talking about a signature (picture and/or text under your post), go here

How can i upload a picture right under my name like most?? I cant figure out how to paste a pic right under my name on the left hand side of my info thing. I dont get how you have to put a url or some sort of link so that i can post a pic that i have on my computer. can anyone help me out??

Click the "quick links" tab --> choose "edit your details" --> this will bring you to a new screen. On the left hand side you will see a bunch of different options. Click "edit avatar" and there you go

Anyhoo, since my post may not have been terribly helpful the other day, and for anyone else who may have similar issues in the future:

Go here (User CP -> Edit Avatar, left side under Settings & Options) and you'll have 3 choices. There are the generic ones displayed at the top. Below that are the 2 choices for custom avatars. First is to link to an image on some other website and below that is for uploading from your PC.

I am not sure if the forum automatically shrinks a linked picture or not. But for uploaded images, it needs to be 120 by 120 pixels or 175.8 KB (whichever is smaller).
