Still waiting to see what the hood clearance is like before I pull the trigger.
Definitely looks like a great upgrade for a lot less than going to a FAST 102.

I ended up talking to Holley yesterday and was told the overall height of the midrise manifold is 10.46". I need to see how that compares to the FAST manifold.

Quick search but I have an approximate height of 6" for a cathedral port 102mm manifold. I would guess the LS3 102mm is just a touch taller. The FAST truck manifold is 10.5".

So the Holley is shorter than that. If this thing fits and makes more power than the FAST... well damn we got something here.

Would you mind sharing the parts list you ended up with?

I'm very curious as to the hood clearance. I found a picture of a Hi Ram in a 5th Gen and it looks like it is 3 or 4 inches too high on the front by the TB.

My understanding is the Mid Rise is only two inches lower. I mean if you have to buy a hood anyways you should go with the Hi Ram.

I also was looking my GTZ Hood actually dips down in that area to create the "vent". I may just be stuck with going ported manifold or a FAST.

So what's the verdict on this Intake? Fits Don't Fit? Would look good with a COPO Hood overtop Fast Gains are minimal to non existent on these motors for the most part and one reason sticking with stock intake on build for time being. May change if decide to spray. But will be all motor 1/2 miler for now.

This is exactly my questioning. I've already got a ported LS 3 manifold, but the gains were minimal. Changing over to the Holley might provide a bit more (if the review numbers aren't inflated) but it's only worth doing if I can keep my stock hood.

The gains for both mid rise and high rise in my opinion are only gonna be noticed in F/I. Or a screamer of a motor. Turning 7k rpm

You could take some pics though.

I would also try and take some measurements before I took stuff apart.
