The 1LE is not meant for everyone. If you do not like a manual trans then it isn't meant for you. It is meant as a track pack. A road race vehicle. Road racing is a manual trans affair.

This. Just like the Z06 is not offered with an automatic.

Looks like a nice car, if I ever get another one of this gen, it will be the one I pick.

The 1LE is for a specific purpose. Appealing to a wide market is not it.

not exactly. the 60th anniversary vette was originally introduced on the 427 convertible, which happens to only be available with a 6 speed manual. the base coupe and convertible as well as the grand sport coupe and convertibles are available with an automatic as well as the 60th anniversary package.

I placed an order on 08/04/12 for a 2013 2LT Automatic. Can anyone expand on the above mentioned dual-mode exhaust being available for V6 in the fall? Does this mean that it is not available on orders placed now, but will be in the future? Does it apply to both automatics and manuals?

Also, I ordered the CRT with the beige interior, but was going back and forth with Mohave Leather Seating Surfaces & Trim. Since this interior color is new and I could not see it in pictures or in person with CRT exterior and because I believe it is on constraint at this time, I ordered the beige interior. Has anyone seen the CRT with Mohave Leather Seating Surfaces & Trim?

The autoblog quote is incorrect. Dual mode on the SS is not standard. Optional equip on the manual. Have heard nothing on the 6 getting it.

A couple of people have mentioned there's a part number in the GM parts catalog system for a V6 dual mode exhaust. Other than that I haven't heard of GM letting people order it yet.

It's rumored to be available later this year for the V-6. You'll have to check with someone on how late in the ordering process you can change your order. If it's something you think you have to have, wait a couple months and theres a possibility that this site will have more information on it.
