Also my biggest vice is what I drink. I can pulloff the diet with food but I miss my sweet tea. I used stevia in the raw to make tea and it was God awful. Any drinks you guys would recommend. I hate the nasty aftertaste some of these have.

I've tried those shakes and they are ok but usually more than I want. I prefer my own. I've tried all shake diet but I like to eat and after a couple of days I'm done.

You are better of eating than drinking shakes. You are also much better off making your own shakes and protein bars, take a look at the ingredient list on most comercial ones, you would be surprised at some of the ingredients .

I've got My Fitness Pal app on my phone so my log shows
1393 cal 118g protein 94g carbs 66 fat

That puts me over 193 in calories. If I was doing cardio exercises
the counter would subtract calories. I don't get any off for strength
training and that's the majority of what we do. The app also logs
water. I like it because it also totals the carbs, fats and proteins.

My diet today wasn't much different from yesterday, just an extra
piece of the frittata, now it's all gone :(. But I'll make another one
and make it with less fat.

My goal tomorrow and Friday is to sort through some of the recipes
that were posted and get a grocery list together.

Thanks for all the suggestions

Doesn't look to bad as far as the cals and ratios, fat is still a little high but with the fittata gone that should change lol. You cal intake is a little on the light side so the 193 you think you are over is actually stii a little less than acceptable.

It's hard to measure cals burned from weight trainig, when you do aerobics the cals are burned doring the exercise and pretty much stops when the session stops, when weight trainig cals are burned well after the sesssion stops making total cal expendature higher

What do you think it should be? I can adjust the counter. That number
was based on how much I wanted to lose when it was set up last year. I can
increase it, but I want to make sure I keep losing weight.

The numbers work out to be around 1700 cals per day. The thing is if you get the nutrition right eating that amount you should still loose weight but if the nutrition is wrong you could end up gaining weight so if you are eating enough to keep you staisfied you might want to stay where you are as it seems to be working. If you don't feel like you are eating enough just get the cals from clean food choices.Usually if you look at a two week period you will know if adjustments are needed.

You may be surprised when he looked at my intake last year, he said I was eating too few calories and added ingredients to my morning shake to balance the ratios (carbs/fats/protien) better and add calories. I did lose more weight. Go figure????????
