I agree, and I don't understand why they don't do hard tops, it looks so much better. I guess it is to cut costs but i don't know. I've heard that BMW does soft tops because of tradition. maybe they should have done some panorama sunroof at least.

I like the coupe personally, I just don't think a convertible holds up with daily use and it gets hot in arkansas I like my air conditioner.

Well, i live in Canada, and i am waiting for a convertible. If they don't make one, then i'll grab a coupe. I've just always wanted the open air feeling, moreso then a sunroof provides. And get a couple of lovely ladies to sit on the back deck and wave at people as we drive by...

I really love the look of the coupe. I didn't like the convertible look as much.... I selected "other" because although I do love convertibles, I didn't think it looked best on "this" car.

For me, the Camaro is first and foremost about performance. And to me, the coupe is about performance, while the convertible is about fun. And since my money is limited, I'll pay for performance before simple fun, especially since it's my daily driver.

Personally, i never liked any car that had more then two seats and was a convertable, it just dosnt look right to me, its "too open", 2 seater small sports cars are the only cars that look good as a 'vert (with exceptions of course, but generally)

That and im in Canada, and i dont think a convertable will play nice with the weather here

1) Can't wait that long.
2) Since I am folically challenged, I'd have to grease up the dome or wear a hat all the time. That would get old quick. Getting the dome fried would really suck.
3) Less security. Anybody with pocket knife could get in easy and ruin the rag top trying.
4) Lose too much room in the trunk and the back seat gets even smaller.
5) Would only use it for a fraction of the year. Top would be up 80 - 90% due to cold Winters and blazing hot/humid Summers.
6) Can't wait that long.
7) I'm sure it will be priced out of my range anyway.
