I wonder If any members with the Recaros could take measurements of where the bolsters begin to kick out, at the waist and shoulders. Would be quite helpful to myself and others that are a bit on the bigger side.

Nope. I'm 6'3" 210 and they fit me like a glove.

I posted this in another thread but I believe the recaros in the Camaro are very close cousins to what was in the GTO. I'm 6.9" and am very comfortable for 4-5 hrs at a time in my GTO. I don't believe they are the same as what is in the cts v.

Just did the same measurement on the GTO seats. It's identical at 20" stitching to stitching on the backrest side bolsters.

Some of the wider members of my gto club have smashed the side bolsters down to nothing. Mine are perfect after over 6 years. People get in my car and remark on how nice the bolsters are. Most of you will have the same result. But if you are built wide and have big legs you will probably flatten the bolsters out around the 2-3 year mark.

I would go to a chevy dealership and check out a Camaro with and with out recaros to make a decision on ordering them , having said that if they were available in 2013 I would of ordered the recaros.

If you didn't know or it hasn't been said it will be much more expensive to add them later than to just go ahead and get them.

They're not close to the GTO seats.

Honestly get the recaro's. Its the best new feature they added in 2014. There is no downside imo. I 100% guarantee you someone will be more then glad to trade you for the regular ones plus cash if you don't like them. Everyone has been drooling over them for weeks now since they came out.
