Headers

Im not much of a car guru when it comes to engines so im sure someone can chime in and answer this for me.

Whats the difference between short tube headers and long tube headers and what are the benefits? I did some reading on the subject but im sure someone here has better info. I eventually want to install headers which is why im asking.

Long tubes have the most gains but require a tune in most cases, shorties are great for sound, tiny bit of gains and allow you to she'd the factory manifolds while being able to get turbos if you decide to later get them down the road

You can't get long tube headers and turbos to my knowledge

shorties make the exhaust a tiny bit deeper than the long tubes. long tubes make it louder. thats what Ive been able to tell from well made videos

There's always the bit about how longtubes increase rasp, so an X pipe is recommended.

Long tube headers are the way to go. The gains you get and the sound is amazing. Love mine!

If your nogetting TT in the future, go with shorties. Long tubes if you are going supercharged or NA.
