Needed to do something quick to pass safety inspection or pay Servco to install it.
I was planning on doing similar to this http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51891 What did you do?
I need to install the front plates and lay down a piece of clear vinyl for the safety check. How much time did they give you?

Depends on the service writer that works with you and the safety inspector(mechanic if strict). My bracket needed more work to do properly. Car needed to be pulled out of garage(strict union shop) into common customer drop-off area. Did mine after 5pm. The service writer was really accommodating and left me alone for ~15 minutes while he finished some paperwork. I did a quick cable tie job in 1 minute and took pictures while waiting for him.

The bracket was mounted solid. Typically, depends on the inspector for approval.

I got mixed feedback when I told them Recon Office told me 12" license height law was pulled last year. Only thing Recon office said was brackets must be in a fixed position. I guess the flip ones may not pass if strict inspector.

Glad to hear your car is finally coming in. Mike G. said a couple SS are expected soon. Good luck.

Saw a yellow one with no stripes at Tripler Hospital this morning. Looked great even without stripes. Starting to see more on the road.

I loved the picture of the fadded gills. I checked some of the other pics on the forum for a sim car with the fadded gills and they look sharp. Can I get your brothers number so that I can get them installed on my car!

Thanks in advance!

Mike

I saw an RJT Camaro in Kailua today. It's a really nice color. I've noticed a trend with the colors, the Camaro makes them look good. The only colors I haven't seen in person yet are IO, CGM, and both blues.

I did my own at 1500 miles, it's easy, it just takes eight quarts of oil.

Grats on the cars all! Been lurking here a little while (not much activity I see, we need to fix that ) and since I just got my TPW of 1/25 figured I would sound off and say hi.

Once I get mine in hoping to meet some other owners, just to put faces to the random cars I have seen!

Cheers!

Brings back memories. I lived on 104th street in Ewa Beach. Back in the days Ocean Pointe was just sugar cane fields.

My girlfriend lives in Kapahulu and a friend of mine lives across the street from Ward Theaters so I'm always cruising down Kapiolani Blvd. Maybe I'll see you some time.
