Thats the ZL1 hood. Insert could be GM or ACS. But hood is the ZL1, higher cowl rise and much wider cowl than SS or V6 hoods.

They have 2 kinds, one for the SS hood that you cut and one that drops in to a stock Zl1 hood.

ZL1 Insert PN 33-4-093 is for a Zl1 Hood
TL1 Insert PN 33-4-095 is for a SS Hood, (Looks like a Zl1 but made for a SS)

Bingo! Most of the driving is done in Mexico and California and both places require the front plate. I got one in Cali and the officer put "non-correctable" and I could not just easily have it signed off. And in Mex it's just a pain to be getting pulled over and giving them cash 3-4 times a day, lol.

But for all you font plate haters here it is naked!

Here it is under construction.

Smoothed out the area where the ZL-1 emblem went in order to put a Twin Turbo or SS emblem in its place. Still waiting for the Chevy bowtie as the parts dept. ordered the ZL-1 emblem by mistake when I told them I needed the one that goes on the ZL-1 grill, smh.

The parts department didn't make a mistake, they were trying to tell you something.

Nonetheless,

They are quick. Quick to get dragged, lol.

I was at the track on Thursday and one was there running 12.8 and he got dragged by a Mustang Shelby. Later on I raced that same Shelby since the ZL-1 didn't want any and I smashed on him badly. Will post a video of it later in the drag racing section.

Dont tell them that, the ZL1 is fast but your car is lighter and faster.

Straight line races don't tell me anything, if i was all about lines i wouldnt have bought it. Throw some curves in there and let's see who prevails.
