LS + 5k rims vs 1LT RS

I can't decide between black LS, gfx and the 5k rims.

Or the 1LT, gfx and RS package.

They both come out to around the same price, but obviously lose out on some things such as fog lamps, the HIDs and the mini spoiler by going with the LS.

Any1 have an opinion?

Yeah get the 1lt with the RS package thats what I have. You can't go wrong with it. The HID headlights with the RS package looks alot better at night than the regular headlights plus the ditch molding at the top of the car looks better because its colored the same as the car and the spoiler is kool too.

Get the 1Lt with RS. You can always add aftermarket rims later, if you still want. And, you could probably get the rims for a lot less if you shop around.

I was in a similar predicament, but I chose to go with the 1LT with RS and GFX. I plan on buying new wheels in the future.

1LT RS - why not take the $5K for the overpriced rims and step-up to the 2LT ?
Do a side-by-side comparison of the 1LT/2LT and see if the leather, etc is something you'd want or not.

Another thought - as you're in NJ like me consider if you're going to run the car in any of the Winter months - if so you'll need to swap out the RS RIMS/Summer Pirelli's for all-seasons and different rims. Unsure of your storage situation for the tires/rims off-season -- I got my dealer to agree to store them.

Let people with ugly cars buy over the top wheels. The new Camaro doesn't need them. It's hot with steel wheels!!

Why 5k. I sell 3 piece forged around 4k and nice rims for 1750 shipped.

Get the 1LT with the RS package. (I'm a bit biased though...)

If you want something different for the wheels, just find a unique set of 20's to replace the RS wheels and then try and sell the RS wheels to make up the difference. Oh, and new tires for the 21's are going to be a bit more expensive than 20's.

Hmm, the RS rims we need to swap out during the winter? Or did you mean the 5k ones due to the chrome?

Which dealer did you go to by the way? I was going to order from the Paramus rt 17 one because I heard they are one of the top dealers.

Thanks for all the replies everyone, I didn't think I'd get any replies at all!

These forums are very helpful and mature

Saving a little more cash, hoping to order in October. I'll go with the 1LT RS / GFX.

Now i just have to narrow down 4 colors to 1
