Two answers from GM at CamaroFest regarding SS spoiler and badge

The two GM folks we were talking to today confirmed that the spoiler on the SS will indeed have three stanchions. Also the SS on the rear WILL be positioned on the lower bumper cover and not on the deck lid.

They were great Camaro enthusiasts and a real joy to meet. Exactly as we have come to expect from the Camaro team.

Thanks for that info. Can you check if the AFM hardware is on the manual LT1?

Answer begs the question. Is there a spoiler delete option as Ford Stang has?

Exactly. I don't know why this hasn't been brought up or isn't an option if it isnt.

After seeing the pics, the car looks much better without the spoiler.

Break out the hair dryers and dental floss for those SS badges.

Awesome, thanks for the info. The more I see picture of the SS emblem on the bumper the more I like that position, looks more natural with the angles and creases of the bumper, has a place of its own. The decklid area is narrow and it looks crowded

No spoiler delete option on the SS, my dealer tried for poops and giggles, system will not let you do it.

There may still be hope for spoiler options....These look like SSs with a non-stanchion spoiler...

I respect your opinion, but I'm in the camp that thinks the rear looks boring without a spoiler. I'll take the stock one over nothing...but...

Hard to say for sure from these small shots, but they seem to look fantastic, and I would be swapping the stock one out for that asap.

So much for listening to the enthusiasts. The SS emblem on the bumper looks out of place and at best an afterthought. I have yet to hear anyone say it looks better there than the trunk lid.
And while the spoiler may not be for everyone what everyone seemed to be concensus about was not wanting the center post.

The SS badge location is a terrible decision. It looks much better on the trunk lid.

Seems odd they say there will be three post on spoiler, yet all the recent pics only show two. Even at the Fest, I only see two.
