Yep just listened to it. He definitely talks more about it freeing up space, and that enabled interesting things for the future. Maybe a line lock for the ZL1 or just new safety devices. Not sure either what it implies.

Haha....I'll be OK I still have my 99 z28. My new engine should be about ready to drop in here soon. That should hold me for awhile to come.

I would be very surprised if the base SS beat the 1LE. Staggered, skinnier, run flats with a suspension more for comfort is hard to see beating the 1LE. I can see it with the MRC.

I wonder how the run flats on the SS compare to what's being used on the ATS-V though. |

The new 2016 Ford Focus RS coming next year will have drift mode..
345 hp. all wheel drive. Same 2.3 engine in the eco boost mustang with a few upgrades added for some additional hp. will be a fun little car for the tuner crowd

I don't have a hard time believing it even with the standard suspension. Less weight and more power for the sixth gen. The 1LE is awesome in its own right but part of that impression is from punching above its weight. They've been able to beat the Boss with more weight and less power so they can pull off topping a 1LE with the traditional performance foundations already in place, even with a lesser tire.

I like that he said you can customize the settings for steering, throttle progression, exhaust, etc. for each mode. I was hoping for that. 1LE performance on the BASE SS! I had assumed that was with the MRC. Awesome! Over 200 lbs. V8 to V8! Sweet!

Run Flats? why? Get rid of those and you will see 1-2 second improvement easy. They are SO heavy and not very sporty. I can't wait to see what they do for the next 1LE.

Do you mean 0.1 to 0.2 second in 1/4th mile?
