Engine poblems 85 v6 - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So im picking up an 85 camaro the guy says he drives for about ten miles the engine light comes on and the car shuts off he thinks it might be a sensor i just want another opinion or maybe someone else has had this problem, Thanks in advance

Need to find out what the trouble code is. Should be stored, can stop by any parts store and have them read it. Once you have that, can start troubleshooting. Could be any number of things.
