Might upgrade to a ZL1 sooner than I thought

I'll have my 2011 RS/2SS paid off in less than a year at this point. Once it's paid off, on top of $5k down I'm hoping to get at least $15k for my trade in (75k miles).

So the goal is to have $20k total towards a ZL1, if that's successful then what should I be shooting for in terms of pricing around the end of next year?

I know it's a little too early to tell, but does $35k out the door for a 25k mileage (ballpark) ZL1?

Definitely not gonna pay over $38k for a used Z.

I'd say 36-39k for a good condition car. Super clean or sub 15,000 mile car are over 40k and will remaine there for a bit. 35k is super low price on higher mile cars right now and I doubt a few more months will change much.

If it helps give a ball park, I paid 41k for 2970 mile 2013 Convertible ZL1 in mint condition, good luck in your search. The few extra grand is worth it if you ask me.

I bet you can find a nice ZL1 for 35k within the next year.

A buddy of mine is also on the hunt...Any ZL1 for 35 or below is not worth your money IF you can even find one. Expect 38+ in the current market for a decent deal. Most zl1 owners feel they have a one-off gem right now and MAYBE with the release of the new Z it may change but I wouldnt expect a dramatic drop in the very near future especially with the new zl1 pricing north of 65k.
Good luck either way but Id suggest coming up with a few k more so youre not in the slums of the used zl1 market.

I'm just gonna be patient, I'm in no rush. I'm just getting too used to my L99's power and don't feel it's worth upgrading since I want a manual transmission anyways.

But the goal is definitely below 40k in 1-2 years
