Dyno tune 8hp and 11lb tq increase sound right?!
I have a 2011 2SS/RS L99 with the CAI and a Cat-Back Magnaflow Comp exhaust. First pull with no tune was 344RWHP and 354LBS. After 4 runs we are at 352HP and 365.9LBS... doesn't seem like much of a gain. Please share your thoughts.

Seems decent considering your modifications are minimal. If you had headers it would be a bit different. If you have a dyno graph and just look at your lower RPM curves. I'm sure you gained much more than 8 HP & 11 lb/ft TQ down there.

Tuning has alot more affects on part throttle response/power ect.
The car should feel more crisp. Almost anybody can tune WOT pulls. |

Have to agree with Don the tune is also about driveability. Those are strong number for an l99 car with basic mods. Headers should net you an additional 20rwhp

I see 5-10 HP from tune alone on basically stock cars. GM did a Real Good Job of Tuning these cars for WOT power and didn't leave much room in the tune for Gains. The Big Gains Come from LT headers and or Camshaft change. Ted.

I would take a look at the gains in the midrange where you sepnd most of your time driving. I bet there are more gains there.
