Geesh...I just wanted enough stuff to make sure a moderately modified Mustang wouldn't embarass me! I'm at that point, but I need MORE!!! Headers, Xpipe, axlebacks, CAI and a tune about $2500 or $3K worth, but still my car is less expensive than a Mustang GT Premium and I'll put a whoopin on those!....lol.

I said I was going to keep mine stock... well... except for the CAI and catch can... I mean they were a necessity, really. And then most everything else is just decorative. No holes have been drilled in the personalization of my Camaro. Not even for a front plate.

In the last month I have full bolt on, ls3 swap, cam, ud pulley my car. Buying a truck to make DD since SS is DD right now, and going to FI it.

As a marketing research student, your poll needs more options! As a C5 freak, I can't stop modding!

Not quite 10k yet but I just had most of this done and I want to keep going. Not like I'm not totally ecstatic about the car as it is now, just so much more you can do to make it that much more awesome.

If people are putting 10k+ on mods why not wait get a zl1 and do it. Then dangeruSS wouldn't be so dangerous anymore.

Because some people started modding their SS well before a ZL1 was even announced. Also, with the difference in price, you could easily put enough money into your SS to rape a ZL1. For the sake of argument, let's just say that an SS costs 30k (a 1SS is close to this) and a ZL1 costs 60k. If power was all I cared about I would really only need 20k to put out well more than a ZL1's 580hp, and still have 10k left over to destroy it in the handling department. See what I mean?

And as a side note, DangeruSS's car is projected to put out 1000rwhp, so the chances of many cars even staying with him is slim, much less a ZL1.

In my case I care more about straight line performance over road course. So the SS is a better choice cost wise.

Something about making this car unique to yourself, just never gets old. I'm close to done with my cosmetic mods for the winter, new MPD spoiler goes on this week!
