Forget HP. Horsepower isn't measured. It's CALCULATED, an imaginary number, effectively. Torque is measurable and what moves the vehicle. 272lb/ft is good, a few mods to get it up to around 300+lb/ft and some rear gears will get this heavy car feeling like what you'd expect a big, quick car to feel like. My 85 Regal T-type was only rated at 200hp but had 300lb/ft. A few years ago my then gf who knew nothing about cars said it scared her when she would gently hit the gas and the tires would chirp without her trying.

I have heard that it depends on the dealer you will be going to, to get it serviced.

Yes, having a mod friendly dealership is definitely a BIG PLUS for minor issues. But for big ticket items like a blown motor, I think the dealership is going to have to call GM to get the warranty claim approved... They don't want to get stuck with the bill... Could be wrong..

I look at it this way, My Saturn Sky had a 2.4 Inline 4 that had 170 HP and 160Ft lbs of torque. It weighed 2900 lbs. and it got 27 MPG on the highway. so the Camaro is going to have 134 more horsepower and 100 ft lbs more torque it weighs 3900lbs and get around 29 MPG on the hwy... I was perfectly happy with the power of the Sky, I think I will be with the Camaro also.

Unless you are towing a large boat, I'd say the V6 has enough power.

Thanks!
I hate it was dark and drizzling rain when we picked it up, I would have loved to get some pictures of it at delivery...
