Anyone else notice how they are hiding the center stack? They going to show us those interior enhancements at a later date or what?

Not a big fan of the stripe package, or the fact that it makes my RS package just a little less special...those are MY tail lights and body-color roof ditch, damnit!

Still, looking forward to a closer look at C5 Fest II. Only one day away!!

The 3.0L needs major work. Peak torque comes at too high of an RPM to offer any fuel economy savings over the 3.6L.

However, I do think it has potential...maybe slap a set of turbos on.
I heard GM is turbocharging the 3.0 But still, I read a post awhile back commenting on that rumor and it said "Hey GM your turbocharging the wrong motor" and I lol'd. But its true that a TT D.I. 3.6 would make more since than a TT 3.0.

I think putting CAMARO in the steering wheel rather than the bowtie will go a long way.
Might be the best of both worlds..

Why goes Chevy go nuts with stickers? LOL
It's a Rally Stripe, leave it alone...
Its like the 4th gen all over again.

Also in exterior changes for 2012: Crystal Red Tintcoat replaces Red Jewel Tintcoat! "CRT" is more reddish in color than the maroon hue of RJT. Here is an example on the 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe, compared to the RJT on the Camaro:

I was waiting for the specs of the new models to be announced, but I didn't expect GM to eliminate one of the best colors! I guess that leaves my second choice, Summit White.

Yeah, I agree. But hey, maybe GM will work some sort of magic and make a 3.0TT work well enough.

A smaller motor with a lower compression ratio allows you to use more boost. That's why they are not turbocharging the 3.6. Though their will be more turbo lag.

With the upcoming revise turbo 4s from GM it makes you wounder what is the point of the 3.0, especialy since it has no advantages over the 3.6 whatsoever, not even in fuel economy.
As I understand it, some oversees countries have big taxes/penalties for anything larger than 3.0L. So you see a lot of car companies doing 3.0 liter engines on models they plan to export to those locations.

Well the 2012 gives my 2011 a rarer look with the spoiler becoming standard. I have the upgraded exhaust so I should be close to the same amount of ponies on the 2012. I'll also have taillight lenses that are no longer produced.

Because it doesn't need it. It's just there to offset the higher weight of the SS. I went from an LT/RS to an SS, and I can tell you the SS does not corner any harder, or hold the line any better.

The 3.0L is an excellent engine.. It only issue is that in the vehicles GM has it sitting... it's torque band comes in too high to make sense. But.. with TURBO.. an engine normally requires a higher compression ratio. The 3.0L probably also is more durable with heavy boost due to thicker walls. I would be willing to bet that U could not thin the walls of a 3.6L anymore without suffering some serious head and cylinder cooling issues

At a current 270HP in the 3.0L and the now dead and ancient 2.8L Turbo pushing out 325HP without DI.. I'm thinking a 3.0L Di TT will easily get 400-425HP. Essentially we are only talking about enuff Boost to pick up another 130-150HP

I see the creativity in the hood stripe.

They got the 4 outline like the four on the fender emblem.

To GM---I know it would cost a little more but, "Red, White, and Blue" the hood stripe. Nobody would mistake a 45th with anything else from a distance.
