My deposit is in.... I'm second at my dealer..... We're waiting for the final pricing before my order is entered. I REALLY hope G.M. prices the car close to the competition, if not, they'll lose my order !

Where's Cananda? I have and so have a few others on the board. I will make changes if necessary once the prices come out.

I did as well, even at a 25% exchange markup I'll be all right though I don't expect more than 15-20. Remember the exchange mark up GM uses is not based solely on the exchange rate (ie paying 33% markup on a G8, or a 10% markup on a soltice GXP) So with the decline in the Canadian dollar GM may leave their exchange markup alone. There was a time a few years ago when it was far cheaper to buy a new car in Canada.

Just ordered my CGM/Black interior 2SS/RS M6.
MSRP, $1000 deposit, for now, and another deposit when prices are announced, fully refundable if need be. Only bad thing is I'm further down the list though(I knew I should've called in sick to work last week), but I can live with that.
The guy seemed to know his stuff. I mentioned I look around on a few camaro forums for the information and the first one he mentioned was camaro5.com.
Now the longest wait of my life begins, first for pricing then for driving. Now if the feds would just lower the taxes just in time for us camaro buyers that would be awesome!!!

buddy i hope so... i finally placed my order and the dealer said that it might cost around $60K.... i told him i don't agree. GM wouldn't sell too many in Canada at that price. His logic was that if it had the corvette ls3 it would be priced just under a base corvette coupe.

yeah i suspect around $45k myself...just gotta wait
