Quick question on tvs pulleys

Stock diameter crank what psi would be seen on a stock ls3 with a 3.2" pulley and a 3.4" pulley. I can't seem to find that chart anywhere that gave that info out. I know i've seen it in the past.

I think the 3.4 will be around 10psi and the 3.2 12psi but not 100 percent. Just what i remember.

The reason i say this is because i ordered the 3.6 and it is the 8psi pulley and i think the smaller you go it goes up 2psi.

The boost will differ a little from car to car. I have the 3.6 and I pull 7.5 lbs. on the street. The 2 lbs. per pulley size sounds about right.

This should answer all your questions.
The stock boost for any Magnacharger TVS 2300 Supercharger Kit installed upon any 2010 Camaro 6.2L V8 with a 3.80" Magnacharger Pulley installed on it is only 6 psi at wide open throttle.

PLEASE NOTE: If running Long-Tube Headers, you will loose 2 PSI of Boost and to gain that back, choose a pulley 2 sizes smaller!

- 3.60" pulley: expect 2.0 psi. more boost over stock pulley -Total boost 8.0 psi
- 3.40" pulley: expect 4.0 psi. more boost over stock pulley -Total boost 10.0 psi
- 3.20" pulley: expect 6.0 psi. more boost over stock pulley -Total boost 12.0 psi
- 3.10" pulley: expect 7.0 psi. more boost over stock pulley -Total boost 13.0 psi
- 3.00" pulley: expect 8.0 psi. more boost over stock pulley -Total boost 14.0 psi
- 2.90" pulley: expect 9.0 psi. more boost over stock pulley -Total boost 15.0 psi
- 2.80" pulley: expect 10.0 psi. more boost over stock pulley -Total boost 16.0 psi
- 2.70" pulley: expect 11.0 psi. more boost over stock pulley -Total boost 17.0 psi

WARNING: The only way to install the 2.70" Pulley is to have the Jackshaft Housing machined down for it to fit properly. Some Jackshaft Housing Castings are made differently in sizes and do vary, as to what the smallest pulley you can use without maching. The smallest size we recommend is 2.80", without any machining performed on the jackshaft housing casting area.

if you lose 2 psi of boost with long tube headers why would you drop two sizes in pulleys if the next size down gives you 2 psi so in my case i have the 3.8 stock pulley with longtubes i would use the 3.6 to get the 2psi back right or am i missing something

just because you are loosing psi doesn't mean your not making more power than prior... Psi on roots blowers is not really a good thing.

On my LS3 we are installing a maggie with 1 7/8" AR headers with high flow cats and the 3.6 pulley, so I guess I should expect around 6 psi and 550 rwhp...? I'm keeping the stock internals and will be installing a meth kit, could I go with a 3.4 pulley?

No doubt these figures come from South Florida Pulley Headquarters at this link for additional help:

This all depends on alot of variables. I have an LS3 and an L99 car Both with TVS 2300's Long Tubes and Flo though Cats as well as Corsa exhaust.

I did tunes and baselines on Both. I tried adding a 3.6 pulley on my LS3 but I ran out of Fuel at 5800 RPM. A Fuel pump upgrade is needed to get the benefit from the added boost. A lean out condition at 5800 RPM made the tune extremely unsafe. I had to go back to the 3.8 until I can get my Fuel system upgraded which I am working on Now. My L99 had no problem with the 3.6 pulley upgrade and started to lean out at 6400 RPM. It would still bennefit from more fuel for higher RPM usage and better shift point calibration but since it is my wifes car I chose to leave it alone. Runs awesome compared to pre tune and boost upgrade.

Here are my Pulls .....

Keep in Mind L99 has 3.6 Pulley LS3 Still Has 3.8 until I get more fuel

Thanks for the info CARGUY; I forgot to mention I'm also installing a kenne bell boost a pump and a meth kit. Hopefully, the KB BAP will help me run the 3.6 pulley without running out of fuel.
