Been a long wait myself. Ordered at the end of September. Heck that is three weeks before even Dirty D did.
Last check. CSX has dump the car in Valley Junction in East St. Louis and its waiting for UP to pick it up. She is about 280 miles from Kansas City and then onto a truck to head north. Keeping fingers crossed that its Saturday.

PENSPHAN87 also had a TPW of 11/14. His car is a convertible too and is already at his dealer (see posting above in this thread). I don't know if he has the Hurst shifter and maybe that's the problem. But I'm really starting to think the plant is down this week.

I have been quite because my fate is the same but different, yes my car is at the dealer (and yes it has the hurst shifter in it) but I have to stick with our plan and wait till mid january to pickup my car.
So I am also in a holding pattern even though my car is sitting at the dealer I can't have it. Different but still very fustrading! I really hope you get your cars soon and I bet you have yours before I have mine. |

I stopped in at my dealer today to ask a couple questions. My sales guy wasn't there yet, so I talked to another guy who pulled my order up on their system. No surprise, no change. This sales guy told me that Oshawa was shut down this week. He also told me there isn't a temp VIN, they just use the order code. I guess my sales guy was just blowing smoke, which shouldn't really surprise me either.
Sorry Pensphan87, I still hope to get mine this year. Sorry you have to wait. |

Just a little later than you - 1100 on 10/18. I called the 800 nmber today too and all I got out of it after a long call with a long hold period was "it should be done this week, but if not then it should be built next week". She did say dome of the plants are closed - I should have pushed for details but didn't. I am assuming that may be where the striping gets done possibly? You'd think someone from GM would chime in about this week - that question shows up in many of the affected build week threads. Oh well - I guess that means the next possible update is likely next Tuesday.
Anyway - Happy Thanksgiving everyone! JB |

It's a real shame that in this computer age GM can't provide us a website where we could put in our order number and actually see where the car is in the build process instead of being told the status after the fact. FedEx and UPS do a much better job providing tracking information...GM could learn a thing or two from them. Have a great Thanksgiving everyone! Jerry |

Its just a roll of the dice. There is a lot getting made out of the plant and they have a system for efficiency. Heck even if they build yours next week, you are still a week ahead of me from order to build. I know , it sucks. For me, I might have a week or maybe two to drive it before it sits in my garage for the winter. That really sucks. They will build it, they will. Patience is golden. Think of it this way, with each passing day you are learning to appreciate the car even more. So there are positives ... I think ..

Well, she got unloaded from the train in San Antonio yesterday. Now she's just waiting on a truck to get her to my dealer.
Hopefully this coming week!
