Nice - though Dealers on trade-ins use http://www.galves.com which is typically lower than Kelley and others. So for a private sale the Kelley award and price points will help, just not on a trade-in...

Actually around here they use NADA mostly but still I would think the values would still be higher regardless of what book they use. Stealerships are always going to be lower than if you sell it yourself.

Not to be a party pooper (again) but the likely reason is that there is still a ton of pent up demand for this car that even used ones are going for near new prices. Once the market is a bit more saturated after a year or so and dealers aren't still carrying waiting lists (many still are) then you will see if this rating holds true.

Dealers near me have none on the lot and when one come in it moves fast. They are still taking people's orders, nd people are still waiting or going out of state. My dealer even picked up a lightly used ABM SS that they got from a Honda dealer (someone who couldn't afford the payments traded it in on a base Accord) and got rid of it real fast too. Just depends where in the country you are.

The dealership where I got mine at all times has at least 3 on the lot. IDK if they're the same ones or used or new but they've always got a supply.

Nice to see the Vette and Camaro on this list, but sad that they are the only American cars.

Not to side track the thread but, I like their quote under "driving impressions" on the kbb.com site...they also achieved 4.4 seconds 0 to 60 mph. Wow and How?

Quote:
Driving Impressions
While we had a chance to sample every level of the Camaro from the V6-powered LS to the 426-horsepower LS3 V8-equipped SS with its six-speed manual transmission, we have to admit that we spent most of our time in the SS. Power and torque are effortless and ever-present, making it an easy car to drive fast, and its 0-60-mph acceleration, aided by electronic launch control, is a more-than-respectable 4.4 seconds. But while you might expect excellent straight-line acceleration, you might not expect the sophisticated handling offered by its multi-link rear suspension, rack-and-pinion steering and substantial tires. Further, the handling is enhanced by the StabiliTrak electronic stability control system that incorporates anti-lock braking, traction control and an active braking system to control wheel slip. Old-school drivers might object, but electronic launch control reduces the level of skill required to get off the line quickly, while "Competitive/Sport" modes for the stability system allow turning off many of the electronic aids, for doing your own thing. And, you would not be wrong to opt for either the less-expensive 304-horsepower V6 version or the 400-horsepower L99 V8 with active fuel management and its six-speed automatic with paddle-activated shifting.

And they have addendums with how much more than sticker? Many people who see that will not even inquire about the car. Terry Thompson, Bay, and UJ all have addendums!
