$30,544.00 for a LS!?!

Tyrrell-Marex Chevrolet in Flagstaff, AZ has been sitting on an ABM LS 6A for 2 1/2 months...they're asking $30,544.00 for it!!! I hope they choke on the damn thing! Here's the math...

LS $23040.00
Auto $995.00
Spare tire $150.00
Floor mats $60.00
and, oh yeah did I mention...
Polished 21" wheels $4680.00
then there's the market adjustment $1400.00
and $219.00 paint protection or window tint, I can't remember.
TOTAL $30544.00.

I tried talking to them rationally when I first saw it on spasticsquirell, I really wanted that car, but not the 21" wheels. Then they told me about the $1400.00 and I just gave up on them. I stopped by to see it one weekend when I was up north and the idiots decided to throw on a set of CGM rally stripes. I guess the car wasn't hard enough to sell already.

Now I call once every week or two, ask if it's still available, politly say thanks and hung up.

My patience paid off. I found a CGM LS 6M and bought it at MSRP and I am very happy.

Same car I ordered. You actually just found an unclaimed one? Not that many have been built. How far did you have to travel?

that's ridiculous! it could be worse, though. Iroczlover showed us one with "$5000 Market Adjustment" written on the sticker

75 miles, between Phoenix and Tucson. I called the dealer the moment I saw it on the spasticsquirrel web site. At first the sales guy thought it was spoken for, then he checked with owner of the dealer ship and it was available. I had $1000.00 down on it before I hung up the phone @ MSRP, $23040.00. The the lack of an auto just means it's all mine as my wife does not drive manual.

I was looking for an ABM LS 6A anywhere within 1000 miles but the 2 or 3 I found were taken already. But I am completely happy with the dark stealthy look of my Camaro.

Hope you don't have to wait too long!
