I do this type of event once a month, but its in a closed airport, drifting is not allowed but I still do it , feels good.

Ernest, you should! 25 bucks to drive your car like a maniac without worrying about a ticket!

H-Rgv, yeah it's a big lot though. It's tough to find venues for our club as there are lots of retirees here in San Antonio and they like their peace n quiet. Drifting is allowed... it's not fast so people don't do it much. There's not much space to do it without hitting cones.

Where are we meeting tomorrow??????? Its going to be RAININGGGGG so I'm sure Womack is out. I'm tired of working on my car so I need a break. Chris your hood is bouncing around in the back of my truck.

Well folks! For the 3rd month in a row Friday Night Fever has been canceled due to weather. Looks like the "night cruise" to Castroville will just have to wait yet another 30 days. Even with the threatening weather looming over us this evening, the group will still meet at Acadiana's between 6:30 and 7:00 pm for dinner. Hey, you still have to eat. Bring whatever you want to drive. For those Camaro sissy's, drive your truck, for those Camaro Thugs...drive your Camaros. For those Camaro daily drivers...sucks to be you (your cars are dirty all the time anyway)

Let us know you are coming...we have reservations for 7 pm

Seriously. The SASCA club will most likely rent out the equipment for it or just hold an autocross that day and we could reserve the parking lot over for the camaro car show or what not and the ones that want to autox can go back n forth between the two events.

Just a thought.

sorry about my absence the past week and the piknic, i had some health issues i had to tend to. i heard about autorama? whats that all about and what do i have to do get into it and if yall are goin im sure my car isnt at the status of yall but i wana take it and see what people think. just let me know what its all about thnks

Autorama is at the Freeman Coliseum, and is a Fri-Sat-Sun show. Unfortunately, in order to enter your car you would have had to submit your application to them by March 1st. We'll have a booth set up though, so come on down and say hello!

Weekly meet-up will be at the AuroRama. Come out and see hundreds of hotods. Mike, Joe and myself will have our cars on display. May need a couple volunteers to represent the SACC table (PENDING ROOM)...pass out balloons and pens, may take a few applications from new members.

There is an admission fee of $15 for adults...kids 15 and under FREE. Cost gains you entrance for all 3 days.
