I guess he was looking at the wrong RPM calculator then.

Our billet Main Caps solve this part of the Problem.

Also Our Set up Proceedures are different than recommended in the instructions as well as a bunch of other details that very much help gear life.

I am offering complete units built to order on an exchange basis with a core deposit.

New gears, New bearings shims seals, Our Posi Mod, Our billet caps, and Pfadt diff bushings.

Just add gear oil and Posi additive and go have fun.

I also add tuning support for the gear change.

Ted.
Wait so the Pfadt diff bushings come with the v8 rear end upgrade package on your site? or is this different and differently priced?

Good catch. I had charts pulled up for the A6 and M6 and accidentally put in .67 instead of .57. That puts it at 1915rpm which is more in line. Sorry for the confusion.

The OP inquired about a M6 car so the answer was tailored to the manual gearing.

still doesn't make sense.

Look at "official 1/4 fast list"

Only two vehicles trap more than 139 mph (the gear limited mph by 4.10's, assuming the vehicle at the least has a stock redline, which the OP states they are planning to do a cam, so there is a highly probably chance that the car will have a higher than stock redline). Both of those vehicles have non-stock short blocks and are extensively modded. In fact... the fastest tr6060 car, runs 4.10 gears (the LPE car).

So why would one justify running 3.73's in a M6 car, just because of a "power adder"?
