TVS2300 belt slip- what's the best tensioner, extra rib setup?
Just added a cam and head work to my setup, while tuning, the boost goes away at higher rpms. Def have a belt slip problem-What is the best setup for the front side of the engine (I have the jackshaft). I have already installed the cog setup on the back.

Adm performance has a brand new hd tensioner and idler combo. Give andy a call and see what kind of deal he can give you.

Definitely try the tensioner. The 8 rib setups are pretty high unless you really need them.

I have the same problem. I added a Jannetey super tensioner and it didn't fix the problem. I ran 8 lbs of boost before tensioner and after, so I decided to go with a 8 rib system. Jannetey set me up with the 8 rib. Definitely not the cheapest setup to go to the 8 rib but I want more boost.

I forgot to mention I also added an e85 kit at the same time and that added a lot more power so I guess I'm not sure what the tensioner would have done at equal power.

When you overdrive the rear you add speed to the rotors which make them HEAVIER to the belt and increases the chance for belt slip..The 8 rib is a much needed piece .We have a great tension setup and can get you a great price on the whole 8 rib setup..Give me a call if I can help you out

ADM, besides the bracket being black; is there any difference between JRE super tensioner and your super tensioner?
