This is a car I would like to see underneath of. Also nice to see they shed almost 800 pounds out of the car.

I expected the 327 with 4.0 L blower to make more power , mebbe they are underrating it.

A 13% smaller motor with a 111% larger blower equals 30 hp less than a ZL1?
Oh, and how does a smaller blower car weigh more?
The 427 gets the same power rating as the SS LS3?
Crazy stuff.

These are the competition power ratings as part of NHRA's classification to determine bracket. It is not the actual hp of these engines/cars. There are other factors used as well including the weight of the vehicle and class it is designed to run in based upon the level of modification to the engine, drivetrain, etc. I assure you the actual power of the engines in these cars is going to be several hundred hp higher than what is posted above.

The weights of the car are different because the copo's dont have all the dumb shit the factory car does so comparing a full street legal car with cats etc to a race car is moot...

Sorry, I wasn't clear.
The Smaller blower COPO is 75lbs heavier than the big brother.

No it makes sense. Both are the same blocks dimensionally. Add the blower and associated piping, 75lbs extra.

Um, he was saying how does the car with a 4.0 liter blower on it weigh less then the car with a 2.9 liter blower. The 4.0 liter blower is physically bigger Item

My mistake, I thought he was comparing the naturally aspirated 427 to the blown 376.
