A little Sunday afternoon install.

So I finally got around to installing some of the items in this big box of parts that has been setting in my garage for weeks now. Here is what I was able to get
done in the few spare hours I had this weekend:

-Custom matte black (Transformers Style) bow ties from Lupe, front & back
-Matte black tail light bezels from Lupe
-Custom painted engine cover, strut brace, and fuse box cover from Lupe
-Rotofab CAI with CF finish
-Rotofab Big Gulp with WW relocation kit
-P13 & P11 fog/DRL conversion kit

Approximate install time 3.5 hrs.

Next weekends install list looks like this:

-Black Lug nuts
-LPE 2.38 SC pulley
-LPE 160* stat
-RX catch can
-RX Super Chiller
-Custom Tune from Todd @ Evolution Motorsports/ IPF Tuning

Two weeks from now i'm getting the car painted via warranty believe it or not because the rock chips are so unbelievably bad after 2k miles. My service guy is truly AWESOME and was able to get my car in front of a big wig from GM that happened to be there as I had my Z in looking at the exhaust and steering bulletins and was able to pull it off. After the car is painted my matte black ZL1 badges and Camaro lettering will be installed.

Then, I'm going to do the thing I should have done first, almost before I left the dealer when I bought my car which is clear 3M practically the whole thing... I've owned a few black vehicles in my life and have never had one chip away like this one, not even close. So I highly recommend to anyone that owns a ZL1 or is planning to (especially black) get a clear bra or 3M immediately as it will be one of the best investments you will make for it.

Yes and a hood insert one for "painted inserts".

Thanks Guys! I forgot to mention I threw a engine light on the Roto-Fab CAI install. Is that normal?

I'm gonna say no....it's not normal. You should find out the code it's showing. No codes with my install.
