Novel concept, but sorry, not looking good. If I took that $6500, and added it to the price of an SS coupe, I believe I could afford a convertible where the entire top goes down, meets the current safety rollover standards, and all under full factory warranty should it leak. And 20 years from now, who's going to have seal parts for that when I want to restore the car? Nah...I'll pass.
