honestly, I have cheap assed tires (500 a set), and I didn't bother to lower the pressure. I wanted to get Michelin PSS, but they don't make my front tire size. I bought what the tire place had because I was nearly down to the cords at that point.
I did do what seemed to be the smokiest burnout of everyone there that day though.

He beat on a roll but that was a few months ago and I didn't have as much done to my car as I have now but I think he will still beat me.
Unless he's an amazing driver and you are horrible, you should be able to beat him because your an auto. He has a slight weight advantage but you should be equally matched power wise.

I was able to cut a 1.62 on P-Zero's at Fontana during a test and tune. Street legal days they don't prep as well so it's usually spin city. I think I was able to get a 1.94 last time I went to a street legal day and that was it.

I had a 1.6 60 ft on these tires 2 months ago at irwindale.
Ill try the open test and tune event next time. I heard they do better track prep on those days.

They do much better track prep.

Oh, and on the subject matter of the 5.0, those cars are no joke. Seen a few Lethal Stang members running 12.7. Mind you that was on slicks.

Why can't they have a 1/4 mile track in San Diego again?? Would it really be that hard to have a 1/4 mile track at sea level in Southern California?

Too many butt hurt lib-tards. They have tried shutting down Qualcomm multiple times. If Barona wasn't on the Reservation it wouldn't be open. If the tribe realized how popular it would have been, maybe it could have been a 1/4 instead. It sucks ass not having one.

Hey Guys,
I'm going back there on Wednesday, January 31. They are having Wednesday Night Lights (street racing at night). If anyone else wants to go let me know.
