I just read the OP.

The rest was optional.

Not bad the finish should last forever.

Powedercoating will last an insanely long time, You litteraly cannot sand off powercoating. I put it on my dirtbike frame and it lasts 10 times longer than paint, and thats rubbing off rocks and trees. I would think powdercoating wheels would last the life of the wheel.

Well trust me there are tire shops out there with plenty of darwin winners.

One guy will respect your car and your wheels, another hates his job and is just blowing thru things and be rough on your baby.

Looks great. Throw some flat black rally stripes on it, powdercoat the exhaust outlets and send me the address on where you leave it parked during the day.

They will last as long as the factory wheels! Factory wheels are powdercoated also.

How long does it take for them to powder coat the wheels? I'm too paranoid to just drop it off at a strange shop and hope they don't take it for a "Powder coat wheel break in drive".

Powder coating lasts far longer than paint, but it's a lot mroe labour intensive. And requires special equipment beyond what paint requires.
