Drivers Side Window Not Indexing. Help? Thoughts?

Title pretty much says it all. I noticed last night that it is no longer indexing, neither dropping down, nor going back up. My auto-up is not working either, though the auto-down is. The passenger side is working just fine. I've had to leave the window open a crack at all times. Fortunately where I live nobody is going to steal or mess with my car, so that's not a concern. It's just my nearest dealer is 1 1/2 hours away and I really don't want to have to drive there just for this if there's something I can do about it.

Has this happened to anyone else? If so how was it fixed? I worry that it's more than a loose connection or fuse, that's it's something like the window motor. But I have no idea at this point and it's way too damn cold out to be troubleshooting it right now. If it helps, it was -38c last night. Though it was dry and my window was not sticking at all.

Any help would be awesome guys!

I'm really hoping that replacing the window motor is not my only option.

Did you read the manual and re-index the windows?

Should be the same as my Corvette..try this

Raise the window and hold the up switch an extra 3 seconds. Release. Without lowering the window, hold the up switch again for 3 seconds. Release. Done

Sounds right! I had to do this every time I unplug the battery. Was like that too in my VW.

I feel like a dumbass, but I can't find where I put my manual after my last interior detailing.

Thanks jjwvette, I'll try that!

Raise the windows, and hold the buttons in the "up" position. That reindexes them
