Stock for stock the Camaro wins. My 07 SRT8 walks my Camaro but it has a 426 stroker and the Camaro is stock.

Ya right, never seen tail lights from a 6.1 srt8 and I have raced allot of them! A good driver can stay with a decent driver in the camaro, but all things equal the camaro is definetly the faster car. Thats reality

If you actaully think the srt8 charger is a drivers race... LMAO... ok shure

You dont believe a 12.9 @ 110 is a drivers race for the Camaro????? I wont even get into what I see everytime I goto the track here. Lets just say, alot of SS Camaros with "bad" drivers I guess. You seem to really know what your doing with those cars, Ill give you that. If you were to do a 2nd gear pull with both cars you know the camaro is walking away with it. The 6.1 srt is just a hair behind the camaro, just like the camaro is a hair behind the 5.0! No one is a definet winner because to many things come into play, but it is what it is.

Not to mention I raced a guy who claimed to have the fastest bone stock time in a 6.1 with a 12.8 something. That day he ran 13.3s to my 12.9s...

Srt8 is right. At the track camaros are running mostly 13.4 when I was there. Only 3 or 4 were mid 12s(including mine). I dunno why? They were not having traction issues either

Because a huge group of 5th gen guys have never owned a muscle car before or drag raced! When I say the camaro is faster I mean the car, not the driver... its always a drivers race, slower cars can beat faster cars because of better driving. The 6.1 srt8 is an awesome car, but its a hair slower then the SS. Thats not new news, the srt8 was behind the camaro and mustang and needed the 392, now they have the edge on both. But who cares, my car stayed stock for 5 min

There are plenty of modded srt's that will wipe the floor with my a$$, but stock for stock it is the slower car.
