I am planning on going if the weather is good and my o2 extensions ever get here. Going out of town until Saturday morning so going to have to hurry to get the car finished.

Yes I will be in the parking lot across from Pizza Hut at 3:15. Unless it is raining. Want to leave for Marshall around 3:30.

FYI... just found out that the "Cruise In" is also a fundraiser for Toys for Tots, so donations of unwrapped boys or girls gifts are appreciated.

Chris, it was nice meeting you. I really enjoyed meeting everybody and seeing all the nice cars in Marshall. Everyone was real nice and it was a great atmosphere. Sorry I couldn't stay longer. Thanks for the invite, I had a good time. Maybe everybody local can meet up soon. Thanks again, Darren.

Well, this morning I was gonna go for a quick cruise for a few minutes. I fired it up and hear a loud ticking sound. I've read all about the alleged L99 tick. I really don't think it's lifters. It sounds like a bad exhaust leak. I have a CAI intake and magnaflow cat-back. Should I take it to A&B where the exhaust was installed, or to Chevyland? I feel like if I take it to Chevyland, they'll screw me. What do y'all think? Thanks, Darren.

Where do you hear the sound the loudest? Does the sound follow the throttle? If it's a lifter you'll hear it under the hood and then it's off to the dealer. I don't think the dealer should fuss about the CAI and the exhaust.

WOW, Thats strange Darren, I have a good buddy of mine his car is at my house and its making a LOUD ticking sound actually its a LOUD KNOCKING sound, It did not do it until I drove it this weekend and bounced it off the rev limiter a few times,

Anyone have any ideas what it could be? and its leaking a little oil in my driveway..

Darren it was nice meeting you also. Thanks for comming out and the next one will be in March. The dealer should not say anything about the cat back or the CAI but if you think its an exhaust leak take it back the A & B. Or this weekend bring over and we can put it on jack stands and see if the exhaust is leaking.

Also if anyone needs help with Headers or such let me know they are easy to do. Just did mine by myself on jack stands.
