Camaro OBD Connector - scantools? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Guys:
Apologies in advance if this is in the wrong thread, but it seemed the most likely place to ask: I'm working on a project to hook up to the OBD2 connector and grab data from the car, like my own scantool.

I'm looking at the pinouts of other existing OBD2 products and they don't seem to match up. It seems that in my 2010 Camaro 2LT, I've got pins 1, 3, 4, 5, 11, 12, 13, and 16 in the connector under the dash at my left knee - none of which match up nicely with what I'm familiar with.

Anyone have any clues?

pcmscan with a MDI or elm interface works fine and the scan tool that comes with hp tuners also works fine

Thanks for the info! I'm going to try and use the ELM327 chip in my project. Good to know it'll work!
