2012 camaro ss , 427 lsx twin turbo, 1143 rwhp 1040 rwtq

Going to be brief as its been a long day and I had to tune three cars sunday, including this one, but this car is sick and I had to post about it.

2012 Camaro ss , built lsx 427 with lsx ls7 style heads, deed's performance custom top mount twin turbo system with twin precision 6766 turbos, squash fuel system, ams2000 boost controller , and so much more to list. Tuned by cms on 100 octane + small amount of meth injection using hptuners custom 2.5 bar operating system ... 1143 rwhp 1040 rwtq on our mustang dyno at 19 lbs of boost.

dyno sheet shows the smoothed numbers, hence the slightly lower number.

like usual you have a non positive comment about any car we build or tune. He has it local to him, and he is prepared to pay for it, in addition he has hptuners software is going to get a multiple tunes for different fuels. Combine that with the ams2000 boost controller, I think he is covered....

I don't think that was non positive. Not to many ways to get 100 octane. I'm sure it can be a PITA to drive around and look for 100. It does make sense to run a street tune for pump. I wish we could use a DSP switch like the Duramax guy have for multiple tunes.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -[/QUOTEThere are plenty of gas stations around SoCal that sell 100oct at the pump. I used to fill up in Perris or Redlands on my way to the track now I run E85 and that's a little harder for me.

Too bad you didn't finish slowmaro's car in time for Fontana today Ryne or it would have been fun. Javy ran 11.3 in the Panda ruck btw and I ran 12.0 in the stepside.

You can put a pin in the ECM to have two tunes. Regular gas and race gas with no problems just flip a switch. Also, that is why they invented boost controllers no need for 1000+rwhp on the street anyways so you run low boost. I run 7psi on the street and more on the fly if someone with a blower pulls up next to me.

Boost controller does me no good Jimmy. I've been thinking of having a non meth tune done. 1000RWHP on streets isn't needed but it sure sounds good.

As I mentioned you can put a pin into your ECM and run two tunes with both EFIL and HPT.

I was referring to the TT Camaro on the boost controller you have to swap pulleys and possibly the belt.
