What % of Camaro Owners Use This Site?

Just curious...a little brain-teaser for the math whizzes around here...but to find out what percent of actual owners there are compared to members and/or visitors of this web-site...guess I'm just bored...sorry...

May be kind of hard as some owners have more than 1 camaro.

Using total Camaro production numbers (5th gen) and if every member had one new camaro, then 69% give or take a fraction. I would place a good guess at 40-50 percent. no logic, just a guess.

Also, the percentage of members that use this site that currently have or had a Camaro of any vintage is much higher. I would guess over 80%

...was thinking the number might be of interest so to speak as far as how many really take a high interest in their car (not saying those who are not members don't care about their cars) and obviously those on here do...but
how prevalant is say "modding" compared to those who would never consider it, etc..., or wanting to really learn how to maintain their cars versus those who don't care...perhaps unknowable...

I'd say 100% were aleast curious once.......some among those became seriously curious owners. I own roughly 40 web domains and I believe the ratio's of unique vistors ( tracked by your individual ISP address) that may or may not become registered members compared to actual product or service purchases/users by percentage is between 13-30%. Meaning 13-30 out of every 100 spent money while visiting the various domains. All of the visitors spent time though. The example is customary for most sites among most industries. So if we applied it ( the math) to your questions in a general sense.................13-30 % of all the sites visitors could own a Camaro, a muscle car or be a serious fan of automobiles in general .

Its worthy of note that we can visit here whether we become bonifide members or not.............for free. The site isn't actually selling anything..........commercial vendors do though and that is why they have some sort of financial agreement with the domain owner of the site concerning their companys banner ad costs.

It would be nearly impossible determining whether or not unregistered unique visitors owned a Camaro or for that fact any car...........the site could have millions of unregistered fans peeking around. Heck as far as that goes, they're are plenty of bonifide members here that do not own Camaro's or any car.

In jest............the site is a social community made up mostly of fans of Camaro's and or other Muscle cars..............some are OCD about their rides other not, some will modify them.......... others not, we'll never know how many..........lol

My honest guess would be like 20-30% or so. Not counting multiple camaros owned by one member.

I run into a lot of Camaro owners who have never heard of this site. I always tell em to look it up. Might find some useful info. And advise them that if they do, make an account. I have not seen or heard from any of them. Just more filler for your thread, Tom.

There is a ton of inactive users on this board. There are at least 50 in the Tampa Bay area alone who posted less than 5 times and never came back. I can assure you many V6 owners have left the board in the past year for feeling slighted. They are on other boards now. I know this to be fact as some of our own club members have done so. I also personally know 7 users who do not own a Camaro.
