Rearview screen
Bought my 14 2SS new on 12/07 and didn't realize that besides the sound warning while backing up - I should also have the display on the screen. Is there something I have to do to activate this screen or is it an issue that I did not realize I had?
Thanks |

The back up camera turns on (or is supposed to turn on) when you go into reverse.

I'm not used to having the reverse camera so I did not realize that I should have had it all along as the sound worked and a yellow yield sign flashes on the screen while in reverse. |

-OR- If you haven't already, try this: To turn the rear vision camera (RVC) system on or off: 1. Shift into P (Park). 2. Press the CONFIG button. 3. Select Rear Camera Options. 4. Select Camera. When a check mark appears next to the Camera option, then the RVC system is on. Kindly, William R. Chevrolet Customer Care |

Thanks, appreciate the offer but I will have them look at this when I take it in for the first oil change service when I near the 3k mark.

Out of curiosity, what happens when you go into reverse? Does the display stay on whatever screen it was on, or does it just go dark? |

The screen goes blank with a yellow yield sign displaying in the center as the beeping sounds. The yellow yield sign appearing is the reason that I thought I did not have the camera option.

The wiring connection might have come loose. |
