From what I've been told it will be greenish (blue light reflected off yellow)

i am not 100% but i dont think the color of the lights is changed by the trim piece

actually, we are going to need word from JohnnyCamaro aka: John Cox for this.

I was told it would change color...which would mean there would be some packers lookin' cars out there.

So, we'll just have to wait and see.

well

i really dont know what i want now if thats the case. because im wanting a victory red 2ss with cyber grey factory stripes but i dont know what to do with the interior.

Too bad they are going to get their @sses handed to them on Dec 21st when I'm watching them at SOLDIER FIELD in CHICAGO as DA BEARS beat on them!!!

Another thread going off topic, but I just found out today that we got 4 tickets AND PRE-GAME FIELD PASSES to the Bears/Packers game on Dec 21st! My first time to a Bears game in Chicago! ...and then we get to watch Da Bears in Houston the following week as they play the Texans!

Even if Chevy doesnt fix it, w/ aftermarket, it's easily remedied

Not sure about how "easily remedied" it will be, since nobody has taken one apart yet.

We keep getting different anwsers on this one all the time so i sent a pm to Fbodfahter last night to get the real info, still no reply

From the look of this thing, the lights will be yellow after all they are calling this option "Body Colored lighted trim kit" and judging from this picture the dash does stay blue

The interior trim kit from GM Accessories will not change the light pipe but it will change the color that is reflected by backpainting the trim pieces. The available colors are Yellow, Orange, White, and Silver.

So the light pipe is just a normal white light and is just reflected to change the color of the light? So anyone could take off the trim pieces and paint the back side to anycolor to make it that color light am i correct or way off? Thanks for your help John.

I think it is a little more difficult then that, but similiar. I will say a lot of people dont like that we wont have red. We did studies of all the colors day and night and there was no noticeable difference between the color for the orange and red. Just my opinion again not that of General Motors
