Roto-Fab vs K&N CAI

Told my husband I wanted a roto fab! Which do you think is better and what is the difference between the oil and dry filter? Will there be a sound difference? Also, need opinions on exhausts?

just put a roto fab on my car and the cai brand on the wifes. mine has plastic tube and is quieter than the cai brand which has metal tube and closed box. havent driven them enough to decide which i like better but in the short little runs i did i think the butt dyno says i felt more of a change in the wifes car.

I am installing my Roto-Fab CAI tomorrow morning, I also have the GMPP Exhaust (with Tips) so I will find out how well these two work together. I am also thinking of installing DT Shortie Headers.

I am not sure if I want to mess with the Cats. The thing that makes me wait on the Shortie Headers is that I have not seen any direct bolt ons. All the ones I have seen, You have to cut the ends off of the pipe that has the Cats and weld it to the Shorties.

Get whichever one you think looks better. Sound and performance will be the same on both- they're practically the same thing. All of the CAIs tested have been within a few HP of one another. I think the Roto-Fab gets the edge in looks because they will color-match the box, too bad it wasn't on the market when I bought my KN.

My votes for exhaust are: MBRP (highly underrated since it's not a big name), Corsa, MRT 2.0.
