A/C doesn't seem as cold

When I first got the car, you could hang meat in the car.

Recently, I noticed it takes longer to get cold and it's not as cold. Also, sometimes there is that smell you get then when the ac is like turned off and defrosting (kinda musty), then goes away. The car just turned 25k miles, is it possible the ac needs recharging already???

Hello Smkn600CTD,

We apologize for these ongoing concerns with the A/C in your Camaro and can certainly understand how this may be frustrating. Have you brought this to the attention of your dealer? If you would like to have it looked at, please feel free to send us a private message and we’d be happy to help arrange an appointment.

Kindly,
Lauren E

If it needs recharging. That means you have a leak in your system. May a pin hole size.
My good friend is an honest and damn good mechanic. People come to his shop and say they need a recharge. Nope. Theres a leak and sure enough there always is. No leak its cold
A little leak and the ac is weak!!!! Dont spend money getting recharged then have to get it done again and again. Have your mechanic check for leaks.

Have you ever changed the cabin filter?

Yes the cabin filter was changed about 5k miles ago.

I checked the a/c low pressures, it was in the green area.

Maybe I sucked something up into the filter area, have to pull the cowl panel and see what's going.
