Thinking about taking advantage of the 20% off MSRP on a 2SS/RS convertible.

One thing I really like about Sync on my Mustang is that I can plug in my iPod, say "play track (blank)" and the song will play. Does the standard My Link do this, or do I have to have the one with Nav? I may be misreading it, but it seems the My Link with Nav is different from the My Link without.

I have never gotten MyLink to work with my voice commands.

I think it may depend on the phone. But I have a iPhone and mine works fine. I wish they would add CarPlay. Mine works good and interfaces well.

Mylink works fine for me I just use commands like call, tune, etc....I don't use an iPod so can't say how it works.

It works great...I can tell it play artist,album, or song.

The one in my Spark works like that and I you can use other voice commands.

MyLink + iPhone, if you press the command button on the steering wheel and say, "Voice" it kicks you right into Siri and you can request anything your iPhone would normally do over MyLink in your car.

I don't have a smart phone but use a flash drive and the voice command works perfectly with it. I can say either play (artist/gendre/song title) and it will go to my selection. I do have navigation but I don't think that makes a difference.
