Aftermarket Front Bumper
All,
I really like the ZL1 grill and am considering it for my 2010 SS along with other options. However, is there an aftermarket ZL1 grill with the the traditional SS mail slot? I like the look of it even though I know some people don't. Please post any aftermarket front bumpers that are similar to the ZL1's. I'm curious to see what everyone has their eyes on or even has on their own cars.

Rideskinz is a possible option. Does anyone have any experience with them?

I think Gen5DIY sells a ZL1 front bumper with the mailslot.
I know someone does, but not 100% sure it Gen5DIY.

There were some on ebay but most people have said they crack around the mailslot. Here is an option :

Rideskinz look good, but apparently take A LOT of work to get them to fit. Filler, cutting, possibly more fiberglass work, etc.

Actually, after looking at it closer, I don't like how the ports and mailslot are not flush. It looks like they are almost inserts or plugs.

Here's a link with the bumper and mail slot. I guess the "inserts" that stick out a bit are only an option, but it does look like the cowl lines need to be adjusted. This is something that ACS can do before shipping?

You should be ready to spend near $2K for a full ZL1 bumper assembly, paint, and install.

ZL1 bumper from Gen5DIY, with T1 ports from ACS composite and Big mouth mail slot from ACS.
To answer some questions above - Yes the cowl lines can be fixed before shipping. The only fitment issue I have is the front bumper is slightly above the hood. I should be an easy adjustment just haven't had time to do it yet as I am handling something else first, I believe it is because the Rad support I bought with it raises up the hood.

Well the bumper itself is $1,200. All I would need is paint. The install I will do myself so no money will be dealt there. It will be expensive, but I think it will look much better than just adding a splitter because I love the contrast of the black lower portion of the ZL1 grill.
