I love the IOM interior, all except for the orange leather part of the seats. If I could get those changed to black and leave everything else alone, it would be perfect. I still want the orange embroidery on the seats, the orange ambient lighting, orange rings around the gauges, etc. Just don't like the orange seat faces. Is it possible to buy maybe an OEM black leather seat face and swap it with the orange ones? Or would I have to just get completely different seats all together?

Hey I live in florida as well and I have black leather interior. I would LOVE to swap out for IOM. let me know if you would like to take me up on this. Not sure how big of a job it would be but id be willing to do it.

You would have to swap entire seat. You'd be better off buying it with black then ordering the orange panels from the dealer. I love the orange seats they really set it apart from other cars.

I like the orange embroidery that's on the seats, shift knob, steering wheel, etc in the IOM interior. I like everything about it, except for the seat faces. I saw somewhere on here a couple days ago where someone's car got broken into and some stuff had to be replaced in his car. One of the things he had replaced (he posted a picture of it) was the surface of one of his seats. It looked like he was able to get a replacement IOM seat trim from GM because it looked identical in color and quality to GM's factory orange seats. It looked just like a seat cover, but it was the seat face... you follow me? I'll have to post the pictures.

You can't do this OEM. They don't sale pieces individually, you have to buy the whole cover and that don't have that combo available as it's not offered.

If you want a black seat with orange stitching, you will have to go aftermarket. Katskin and *********** are two high quality leather designers you can look into though they do cost around $1,500 for a pair.

yeah they don't sell it in peices so like they said it's cheaper/easier to get custom seats done.

i installed katzkins and love them, i have my black leather covers which are perfect an if someones interested i would sell them, but the sitching is not orange.

The seat covers can be replaced. A buddy of mine wanted cloth but also the 2SS so he ordered cloth covers separately when he ordered his car. His seats are now warmer than mine because I guess heat comes through the cloth easier than the leather. I did remove the seats for him to make it easier.
