Hi Guys I Havent Been Active And an Now Catching up with the site...Hi by the way :P , anywho i read that the supercharger will be root style?

There are three main types of superchargers
Roots type (with meshing lobes) Impellers Screws Basically as you move down the list the boost potential goes up as does cost. I think that it has been answered someplace else but I'm too lazy to use the search button

superchargers, all run off a belt from the engine. lets break it down
centrifugal: Centrifugal S/C's are some of the most efficient chargers out there, mainly due in fact that they arent mounted directly on top of the engine and make more power with the addition of intercoolers Twin-Screw: Twin-screw s/cs are very efficient but costly due to the high precision required in the manufacturing process. they are usually mounted directly on top of the engine/intake, but can be mounted off to the side. Roots: Roots style s/c's are the least efficient due to their large size.added weight and the fact that their airflow is not smooth, as the lobes rotate, it creates bursts of air. and the new maro will more than likely be getting a roots or twin screw style s/c. the main reason is that, just like the previous LS engines, you can replace the intake manifold with a S/c manifold and save space all while adding power and not cluttering up ur engine bay
