Bought my car today - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I bought my CRT ZL1 today, I paid 500.00 less than msrp, and got 1000.00 for a junker trade-in. This was the 2nd dealer I went to about two months ago, they call over the weekend to let me know that they had one similar to what I was looking for coming in.

I had another dealer that was suppose to get an allocation that I thought would be irritated when I called to tell him I already found my car, but when I called him, he told me that they didn't get the allocation, he said congratulations and bring the car by in the future.

I been looking for a couple of months and had a few dealers that wanted to charge over msrp, most called it a dealer appreciation charge, I told them that I didn't appreciate them that much. If I didn't find some decent dealers I probably would have got the SS2 with the 1LE package.

The car is at the GM plant in Wentzville Mo waiting to be deliver to the dealer about 10 miles away. They told me they expect it in the next few days, possibly tomorrow.

Definitely will, it's just starting to sink in that I went from being a couple of months away with the ordering process to having one in time for a good road trip before it gets cold.
