The weather is looking good next weekend for a cruise , Friday and Saturday is forecast for partly sunny , 10% chance of rain with a high near 60 deg. We will be leaving here Salkum , WA. at 10:00 am . We will drive Spencer Road along the Cowlitz River to Hwy 505 , cross the river in Toledo then go east on Hwy 505 to the Hwy 504 junction . East on Hwy 504 along the Toutle River to Johnson Ridge . There are several nice viewpoints and a stop at Coldwater Lake along the way . Arrive at Johnson Ridge around noon . Bring your camera , radio and binoculars .

This morning (Sunday Nov.2 )my wife and I got up early and drove this same route . It was beautiful . The mountain has fresh snow , the fall colors are out , the roads are nice and wide with long winding turns , no traffic , no patrol , just a few hunters . We will try to be back here around 2:00 pm and we will grill bacon cheese burgers / chips here with pop and water for lunch with everyone who wants to stop and eat before heading home . PM me for directions here or to meet up at the Hwy 505 / 504 Junction around 11:00 am . Thanks and hope some or you folks can make it for one more cruise in 2014 . John and Ginger .

Yes , we will plan for 1 or 2 St Helens runs next year when it's nice and warm . This run was last minute with the nice weather on Sat . Have fun .

The weather is still looking good for Saturday . Looks like about 6-7 Camaros are going so far . I'm working at Madigan Hospital on Joint Base Lewis Mcchord and trying let some of the Camaro driving service members here know about it as we'll .

I should be heading up and I will join in at the 505 and I-5. Brent will be coming down from Tacoma.

Ok , that's the Shell Station in Winlock on the west side of I-5 see ya there about 10:30 .

Let me know if you want to go some other weekend if it's nice . We can get Pflyn Lo to go and have a Summit White ZL1 run lol . Mt St Helens is almost in my front yard .
