Car is with out a doubt COTW worthy!
What's up with the C6 shift knob? Will it work on the stock shifter? Can you get me one?
Thanks brother!

Thanks Seth!

The C6 is on top of a LG Short Stick. I had the LG Stick in there and found that their delrin knob was wearing a little faster than I planned. (It was a free knob when I got it so no harm, no foul.)

Took out the Shifter lever and saw that it had a flat spot on one part of the surface of the stick.

I remember Vette knobs having the setscrew on them and flat spots on the sticks to tighten them down. So I went out and picked up a Factory C6 knob and guess what? It fits perfectly!

So I reinstalled the stick and knob, secured the factory boot in the same fashion it came off in, and haven't looked back.

The shifter is very spartan in the fact that its a bit notchy and you can hear a little sound through it. Not much, but just enough to know that it's there.

I like it that way personally and it helps when you're really gettin into the gears on the track.

Appreciate the comments and thoughts.....means alot to hear it from all you Big Dogs!

Yo Ivan it was great to get to meet and hang with you during a ECC meet and get to see your car. It needs to be COTW ASAP!! Haha. I threw my car into that mix but knowing for sure there are way more cars that are more deserving of it than mine....especially yours!! Hope all is treating you well in NM and we'll all keep campaigning for your car to be COTW!

Dig that!!! Hey brotha thank you for the kind mentions. That's killer coming from you as well. You know your whip is right up there. You've put mad time in on that ride and it shows.

I'd never feel bad losing COTW to your ride either. You got the right attitude and the entire ECC Family is incredibly awesome.

Can't wait to get back down there one day soon!

Appreciate the compliments man....mad respect sir.

First off, I found a knob that I really like and fits great on the LG Short Stick. The one that it comes with is good, but its kinda plain, and I like a pattern or something on mine so I did some research and homework and found that the LG Stick actually accepts all C5/C6 Vette Knobs.....hum.

With that said, I scored a C6 knob and bam...adjusted the height and used the provided setscrew to lock it in. Came out good. Had it in for a good week now and I absolutely love the offset of it and how it feels while doin some spirited driving!

Another thing that you'll most likely be seeing from us is color faced gages. We're working with a great company that has a lot of experience doing this already and come up with some good colors and options.

This is the first of the ones that we got and installed. So far they install in no time at all and are made of the highest quality pieces on the market. They light up just like OEM, but have a great colored face to really give the interior some BAM!

More to come on these Gems but here's some sample pics and a random updated pic.....enjoy!

Amped up to put the car in an actual Show this weekend......

Anybody using the show stands and if so, what are you using to display your show board? Between plexiglas? Framed??

Pretty exceited to see how it goes.

Finally able to compete with some of the cars we've actually helped build.

Hey Ivan. Got any pics of the orange ones? I'd be interested in a set if they match the IOM interior.

By the way, sick ride!
